An important part of ADA Inc.’s role is the biennial Australian Dental Congress, where members have the opportunity to hear guest lecturers from Australia and overseas speak on current issues and practices affecting dentistry.

The Australian Dental Congress is a signature Continuing Professional Development event, with CPD hours attainable through attendance.

Eligible delegates who attend the Congress can accrue CPD hours for every hour they attend the Scientific Programme.

A maximum of 24 CPD hours are achievable by attending the Scientific Programme at 34th Australian Dental Congress, including Lunch & Learn sessions.

From Thursday 1st July 2010, a national registration scheme for dentists operates across Australia, managed by the Dental Board of Australia.
